Checker Phone App Tutorial
After successfully downloading the app and setting up your User and Password credentials you are ready to log in and begin ordering your transportation services. Please note that the driver will collect the estimated fare prior to service.
Using the App:
Logging In: Enter your email and password and tap “Sign In”
The App will display a map with a Blue Dot which represents your GPS location which is secured from your phone. Your phone may ask you to confirm that you want the App to use your current GPS location, please select “Yes” or “Allow” for optimal App performance.
Selecting your Pick Up Address/Location: A Green person with an arm raised represents the Pick Up location you will be requesting service at and it should be positioned over your GPS location . The address line at the top of the screen should populate with the address or location name that you are currently at.
If the Green person is not located at the GPS location , and the GPS location is where you want to be picked up, tap the arrow in the lower right corner of the screen, the Green person will automatically move and align with your GPS location .
If your pick up location is different than your current GPS location , you can either tap the address line and manually enter the address or search on the name of the business you want to be picked up at or you can move the map by scrolling to the area positioning the Green person on the pick up location which will automatically update the address and pick up location in the address line at the top of the screen.
You can refine the address by tapping the # sign to the left of the address line and entering the exact address. When the address line represents the location you want to be picked up, you are now ready to select you destination.
Selecting your Destination address/Location: To set the destination, tap the destination icon in the lower left corner, a red flag will appear on the map.
You can either tap the address line and manually enter the address or search on the name of the business you are traveling to or you can move the map by scrolling to the destination area and positioning the Red Flag on the pick up location, the destination address will automatically update the address and pick up location at the top of the screen.
You can refine the address by tapping the # sign to the left of the address line and entering the exact address. When the address line represents the location you want to be dropped off, you are now ready to book your trip.
Fare Estimate: A fare estimate will automatically appear below the address line after the pick up and destination location is set. The screen will also display how far away the closest vehicle is from the pick up location.
Booking the Trip: To schedule the trip, tap “Need a Vehicle” icon at the bottom of the screen. A trip confirmation screen will appear that allows you to edit the information and enter a short note that will be displayed to the driver. Review the trip information and tap confirm to place the trip order or tap cancel if you no longer need the transportation.
Getting Picked Up: After the order is placed the closest available vehicle will be assigned the trip. The vehicle number that accepted the order and the drivers name will appear at the top of the screen with the estimated time that the vehicle will arrive at your pick up location.
The interactive map will show the vehicle assigned and you can monitor the vehicles progress to your location to ensure that you can easily locate the vehicle when it arrives.
Locations : Under the Locations folder you can maintain the locations that you regularly request services from. By adding a location to your folder you can quickly rebook the trip as needed.
History: A history and detail of your trips is maintained under the History folder. You can delete the history as needed or you can even rebook the trip if needed
